Texhnolyze S01

In a man-made underground society, the descendants of a generation live who have been exiled due to a war over the governance of the ruined city of "Lux". "Ichise" is an orphan who becomes a bounty hunter, losing an arm and a leg to satisfy his angry sponsors. When he is on the verge of death, he is used by a young female doctor as a laboratory specimen for further "Texhnolyze" developments. With his new arm and leg, Ichise comes under the wing of "Onishi", the powerful leader of "Organo", an organization that still has connections to Lux. As Ichise becomes more and more embroiled in the local struggle for control of the city, he hears things about his possible future from a young girl named "Ren" who has guided him through the darkest moments of his life. Now, as the war reaches its peak, Ichise must uncover the hidden truths of Lux and fight for his survival in order to discover his own destiny.
